Goal

PRODUCT: TUXEDO
VERSION: 6.5
ISSUE: Customer booted simpserv.exe on their OpenVMS box  and got the following output:

exec simpserv.exe -A :
        CMDTUX_CAT:815: ERROR: Cannot fork 0 processes started.

815: ERROR: Cannot fork 
    Description : tmboot was unable to fork() a child process in order to start a BEA TUXEDO system process. 
    Action: The system resources are being used intensively. Try the boot command again. If this situation persists, contact your UNIX system administrator.

This error message is misleading.

When checking in the Ulog we have another misleading message:
153656.TuxMachineName!tmboot.exe;1.792: LIBTUX_CAT:270: ERROR: Restart sync error 0


270: ERROR: Restart sync error errno 
    Description: An internal error occurred during a restart of a process. An acknowledgment that the process was restarted was never received. 
    Action: Contact your BEA TUXEDO system Technical Support.
