Goal
PRODUCT: TUXEDO VERSION: 6.5 ISSUE: Customer booted simpserv.exe on their OpenVMS box and got the following output: exec simpserv.exe -A : CMDTUX_CAT:815: ERROR: Cannot fork 0 processes started. 815: ERROR: Cannot fork Description : tmboot was unable to fork() a child process in order to start a BEA TUXEDO system process. Action: The system resources are being used intensively. Try the boot command again. If this situation persists, contact your UNIX system administrator. See Also: tmboot(1) This error message is misleading. When checking in the Ulog we have another misleading message: 153656.TuxMachineName!tmboot.exe;1.792: LIBTUX_CAT:270: ERROR: Restart sync error 0 270: ERROR: Restart sync error errno Description: An internal error occurred during a restart of a process. An acknowledgment that the process was restarted was never received. Action: Contact your BEA TUXEDO system Technical Support.
