TUX.ALL : Error In Documentation Example For Tuxedo txrpt Command Usage (Doc ID 766457.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo - Version 6.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

DESCRIPTION:

Tuxedo service processing times may  be collected, in a standard error file, for an application server by configuring the application server CLOPT -r option(and -e to specify a stderr file name).

Reports for the service processing time can then be generated using the Tuxedo txrpt utility on the standard error file saved.

In the TUXEDO Reference Manual about txrpt(1), you can read for instance this line :

txrpt -nSVC1 -d10/15 -s11:10 -e14:18 newr

The correct command usage must be shown as redirecting the input from an input file. In this example the "newr" file:

txrpt -nSVC1 -d10/15 -s11:10 -e14:18 < newr
