RP/TUX 6.5, TUX 6.51, TUX 7.1, TUX 8.0 - Remote domain fails to disconnect conversational connections

(Doc ID 770275.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 04, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo / Tuxedo / 6.5, 6.51, 7.1, 8.0
Information in this document applies to any platform

The customer has a conversational client that repeatedly does a tpconnect() followed by a tpabort() in rapid
succession. The remote domain gateway creates the appropriate MSG_ROLLBACK and MSG_DISCONNECT actions, but the
conversational server doesn't always get the disconnect, and remains hung on a tprecv(). The associated transactions
in remote domains remain in TMGABORTED state forever. This problem does not happen if the client and server are in the
same domain. It only happens when going through TDOMAIN or through OSI-TP.
