RP/TUX 6.5, TUX 6.51 - File transfer not working if TMP environment variable contains long names (Doc ID 770367.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 08, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo / Tuxedo / 6.5, 6.51
Information in this document applies to any platform

NT or Win2K:
After RP317, Tuxedo 6.5 on Windows makes use of the _tempnam() API in order to take advantage of the TMP environment
variable to store temporary files (typically, files created when file transfer is in effect i.e., when messages are
too big to fit message queues).
However, if the TMP variable contains a path made up of long names, such as "c:\Temporary Directory", the
file transfer fails.
