Goal
A /WS client program is installed on a machine that connects to the server application through AOL 7.0 (dial-up) and VPN software. The security settings are as follow: SECURITY APP_PW AUTHSVC CHKAUTH The call to tpinit() fails and logs the following errors: 132006.TuxMachineName!?proc.xxx: 071902: TUXEDO Version 6.4 32-bit Windows. 132006.TuxMachineName!?proc.xxx: LIBWSC_CAT:1037: ERROR: Network message receive failure 132006.TuxMachineName!?proc.xxx: LIBWSC_CAT:1371: ERROR: Unable to get reply to OWS_TICKET request 132006.TuxMachineName!?proc.xxx: LIBWSC_CAT:1338: ERROR: Unable to send ticket to WSH 132006.TuxMachineName!?proc.xxx: tpinit failed If either AOL 7.0 is not used (another ISP for instance) or the VPN is turned off, the application goes through.
