Goal

The problem occurs in an MP application with a Solaris master node and a Windows slave node, with SECURITY set to ACL or MANDATORY_ACL, and with a large ACL file (11K bytes in this particular case).

The first attempt to boot the application fails with:

. . .!slisten.exe. . .: LIBTUX_CAT:6031: ERROR: Unable to pre-process buffer before tranmission. Error code(12/3952)
. . .!slisten.exe. . .: CMDTUX_CAT:607: ERROR: Error encoding reply message propagating the files will fail

The above error messages pertain to the transmission of the tpacl file. The tpacl file, along with tuxconfig, tpusr, and tpgrp, is actually propagated to the slave node OK, and what fails is sending the reply message back to the master node.

Therefore, repeated attempts to boot the application succeed because the files don't need to be transferred again.
