JRockit 7.0 SP2 - Crash while compiling a jsp (Doc ID 772670.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 05, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle JRockit / JRockit / 7.0 SP2 JDK 131
Information in this document applies to any platform

Goal

JRockit 7.0 SP2 with JDK 1.31
JRockit is crashing when compiling a jsp page. It's worth to note that the application uses a lot of tags from Struts
and JSTL frameworks, it might be one of the reasons why a generated *.java file becomes about 600K to 900K in size. So
far, the biggest generated JSP page java file, which JRockit could compile and load successfully, was around 696K on
that machine. Below is the stack trace from the dump.
