RP/TUX 7.1, TUX 8.1 - /WS with TPMULTICONTEXTS, network timeout causes a tpinit() memory leak (Doc ID 772718.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 19, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo / Tuxedo / 7.1, 8.1
Information in this document applies to any platform

Goal

Product: Tuxedo 7.1 RP242

Platform: Windows 2000 (/WS only), Solaris 8 (server)
If tpinit() is used with TPMULTICONTEXTS and a network timeout occurs (LIBWSC_CAT:1526: ERROR: Network timeout
occurred - connection dropped), then the next tpinit() call in the same client leaks memory, apparently because of the
old context not being cleaned up.
