JRockit 3.x, 7.0, 8.1 - Why is the JRockit thin thread sleep time not accurate? (Doc ID 773129.1)

When using thin threads, if the sleep period is specified as 10 milliseconds (Thread.sleep(10)) It is found  that it
actually sleeps for more than 50 milliseconds. If it is switched to native threads it gives more accurate behavior and
it sleeps for the ~10 ms.
