Limitations When Using the Keep-alive Option
The keep-alive option is supported only on platforms for which the Oracle Tuxedo system uses sockets:
Tru64 UNIX
HP UX
Windows
This is not true since release 7.1 which include 8.1 we use sockets for all platforms and Keepalive is supported on all certified Unix platforms, including AIX, Solaris and Linux among many which this document fails to list.
