Goal

DESCRIPTION:
A few problems fixed in Tuxedo 8.0 and 8.1 patches were caused by shl_load() calls hanging on HP-UX 11.11 (64-bit)
machines. To fix these problems, calls to shl_load() have been replaced with calls to dlopen(). However, we still
support HP-UX 11.0 32-bit for both Tuxedo 8.0 and 8.1, and as documented in the dlopen man page on HP-UX 11.0,
dlopen(3C) is intended for 64-bit applications only and 32-bit applications should use shl_load() instead. According
to the following note:

http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/libtool/2001-04/msg00221.html

the PHSS_22514 OS patch enables dlopen() support on HP-UX 11.0 32-bit systems. Indeed, everything works on our
machines where this patch has been installed. So, we should document that we now require the PHSS_22514 patch or its
successor on HP-UX 11.0 32-bit machines.

Tuxedo 8.0 and 8.1
