RP/Tux 8.0 [RP 323] Solaris 8 dmunloadcf TE_TARGET invalid parameter (Doc ID 776332.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 04, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo / Tuxedo / 8
Information in this document applies to any platform

Goal

Environment:
TUXEDO 8.0 RP323
Solaris 8

Problem description:
A similar CR (CR093601 Tux 8.0: Not able to use dmunloadcf o/p as i/p to dmloadcf for eLink OSITP) but not for TOP/END
parameter
Test reproducer is under 'frsol03' into /home/gomes/sample/dom8_8 directory
The origin of the problem relies on an internal parameter for TopEnd cross-domain that has to be ignored if null.
The temporary workaround to ignore this parameter is to use an atomic script

dmunloadcf | sed -e 's/TE_TARGET=//'

SUMMARY:
On a cross-domain configuration, the following ud32 commands script is entered:
SRVCNM .TMIB
TA_OPERATION SET
TA_CLASS T_DM_EXPORT
TA_DMRESOURCENAME RMIXTE4
TA_DMLACCESSPOINT *
TA_TARGET ""
TA_DMREMOTENAME RMIXTE4
TA_STATE NEW
then using the "dmunloadcf" command yields (for this part):
RMIXTE4 TE_TARGET= ""
        COUPLING=LOOSE
so that a subsequent "dmloadcf" with this result as input gives an error on TE_TARGET.
