DESCRIPTION: The customer was originally running Tuxedo6.5 / RP 363 on AS400 V5R2 systems. He installed RP451 and after that his RPG400 Tuxedo clients failed on tpinit() with the following error. Note that he did not link his applications with the new libraries. "The target for a numeric operation is too small to hold the result" If the RPGclient application is linked with the new ( RP451 ) Tuxedo libraries, it runs fine with the new Tuxedo binaries, but the same error is encountered if the application is run against a Tuxedo instance with RP363. There have been no issues with the client applications implemented in C language.
