RP/TUX 8.1/TUX 9.1 - customer is getting TPE time out doing tpacall (flags 0x2e)

Goal

Product:  Tuxedo 8.1
Operating System:  IBM AIX 5.2 (32 bit)

Problem:

Customer receives an unexpected TPETIME after doing a tpacall with a flag 
of 0x2e (TPSIGRSTRT | TPNOREPLY | TPNOTRAN | TPNOTIME).  There is no error 
in the transaction before doing tpacall, and elapsed time is < 1 second.
