RP/TUX 8.1 [RP231] /TUX 9.1 - TMS Does Not Reconnect To Oracle (Doc ID 777036.1)

The TMS does not automatically reconnect to Oracle after a database reboot.

This happens when the first connection error (XAER_RMFAIL) is detected by an xa_commit(TMONEPHASE)

If the error is detected by xa_prepare or xa_rollback, the TMS reconnects with no problem when the database is up again
