RP/TUX 8.1/TUX 9.1 - [/WS] [TMTRACE] tpterm() sets TPINVALIDCONTEXT for TPMULTICONTEXTS if TMTRACE is enabled. (Doc ID 777707.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 04, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo / Tuxedo / 8.1,9.1
Information in this document applies to any platform

Goal

DESCRIPTION:
If a client starts a Tuxedo connection using tpinit(TPMULTICONTEXTS), tpterm() sets the Tuxedo context to
TPNULLCONTEXT.

This is true for native Tuxedo clients with TMTRACE enabled and disabled. It is also true for Tuxedo /WS clients with
TMTRACE disabled.

If TMTRACE is on for a Tuxedo /WS client and tpinit(TPMULTICONTEXTS) was called before, tpterm() will set the Tuxedo
context to TPINVALIDCONTEXT. This is at the case since > Tuxedo 8.1 RP273 and the behavior only changed for Tuxedo
/WS clients with TMTRACE on.

CONFIGURATION:
Tuxedo 8.1 RP273 on all platforms
Tuxedo 9.1
