Oracle Tuxedo - Version 8.1 to 10.3.0
Information in this document applies to any platform.

WebLogic Server 8.1 SP5 crash due to excessive memory used in a production system.

The JRockit dump shows that a call is being made to bea/jolt/IOBuf.waitOnBuf. The workaround for this CR326196 was to make the blocktimeout shorter than JOLT's recvtimeout but it is not acceptable to the customer.

The Tuxedo ubb configuration parameters for their application shows BLOCKTIME=6000 and SCANUNIT=5. This would indicate that they are trying to never get a blocked call.

One thing unusual noted is that, in the WebLogic config file, NativeIO is disabled.
