remoteFault/bindingFault Thrown for a Deactivated Web Service
Last updated on MARCH 27, 2009
Applies to:Oracle(R) BPEL Process Manager - Version: 10.1.3.3
This problem can occur on any platform.
A Bpel process invokes a partner link. If the related web services is deactivated, then the process should end up in a bindingFault.
However before 10.1.3.3.1 MLR#14, the process ends up in a remoteFault.
In environments using 10.1.3.3.1 MLR#14 (and higher), and 10.1.3.4 MLR#3 (and higher) the process throws a bindingFault which is the expected behavior.
