Last updated on NOVEMBER 04, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo / Tuxedo / 8.1

Goal

DESCRIPTION:
Customer has reported a defect in the jolt module.
The WebLogic Jolt Connection Pooling Manager prepares the new connection even if un-used connection is available. This
leads to delay in request processing until a new connection is established. Also, multiple threads can try to
establish a connection on the same objects instance. Further, due to the synchronization logic, only one thread
actually works on the connection, where as other simply wait to tell that the connection is already established.

IMPACT:
Multi-thread client may hang when using SessionPool to connect to JSH.

CONFIGURATION:
HP Nonstop is based on Tuxedo 8.0
