WCI Portal May Experience Slow Page Load Performance Due To McAfee Antivirus Buffer Overflow Protection (Doc ID 778375.1)

These symptoms may occur individually or in combination:

  1. Portal pages containing remote portlets load slowly.
  2. Pages containing no remote portlets load quickly.
  3. Pages with all remote portlets minimized load quickly.
  4. Portal Administration loads and navigates quickly.
  5. WebCenter Interaction portal has been installed on a Windows Server and .NET/IIS.
  6. The w3wp.exe worker process may show high CPU utilization under low load.
  7. McAfee Antivirus has been installed on the Windows Server running WebCenter Interaction portal.
