The WebCenter Interaction portal allows customization (branding) of Community pages through header, footer, and canvas portlets. Community branding represents a specialized usage of WebCenter Interaction (WCI) Publisher. Because Community Branding does not require Publisher Workflow functionality, the Workflow Server can be disabled in order to reduce memory consumption on the Publisher host machine and reduced utilization of the database server.
