ORA-12505 when Installing Oracle Service Registry (OSR) (Doc ID 779214.1)

Symptoms

When installing Oracle Service Registry 10.1.3.3.0 within an Oracle RDBMS 10.2.0.x RAC environment, the install JDBC driver screen needs to be set to:

$ORACLE_HOME/jdbc/lib/classes12.jar;

This fails with ORA-12505
