WebCenter Interaction - Missing Triggers Can cause Failures in User Profile Sync

In cases where triggers are missing from a WCI Oracle Database, problems can arise in the LDAP profile sync. Users are initially created OK, however they are not properly added to the ptvgroupmembership table. The nature of the problem is such that no error is thrown during the account sync because everything appears to be working correctly.
When the profile sync job is run the error seen is -
In order for the problem to occur, the triggers must have been removed directly from the database. This would not be done by the WCI application.
