Purging In IPM Is Not Processing Objects That Have Been Scheduled To Purge (Doc ID 782065.1)

Symptoms

Objects are waiting to be purged and will not be processed. This usually happens to a specific set of objects that are "stuck" in a waiting state. The System Manager tab in the Storage Management Tool shows queued items under the Purge Queue. All other purges are processing successfully.
