'Incorrect username/password. Please reenter both' Error When User Authenticated With MS AD LDAP (Doc ID 783996.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

Cannot login with user authenticated from LDAP (MS Active Directory).

1) Follow the steps mentioned in Oracle BPA Suite 10.1.3.4 Administration Guide, Section 3.4.5.
2) Create a user in BPA.
3) Add the DN attribute for the user and specify the value e.g CN=User1,CN=Users,DC=ad,DC=vm,DC=oracle,DC=com
4) Add the LDAP login URL attribute for the user and check the property.
5) Login with the username and password.

Cannot work with BPA Architect application.
