Session Lost When Running Application in OC4J 10.1.3 Standalone Through HTTPS (Doc ID 786320.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 19, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Containers for J2EE - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Application developed with JDeveloper 10.1.3.x runs successfully on 10.1.3.x OC4J standalone when
accessed with http protocol.
When the applications are accessed via https then, after some time, the login mask reappears, and
the user is asked again for login credentials (username/password).

Sometimes after several login trials, the user gets the following message:

500 Internal Server Error
Servlet Error: An exception occured. The current application deployment descriptors do not allow
for including it in this response. Please consult the application log for details.

and the application.log file reports:

The issue occurs randomly.
The same behavior occurs with Internet Explorer browser and with Firefox.
