Unable to Retrieve Search Results When Upgrading to Folders_g (Doc ID 793366.1)

Symptoms

During an upgrade to 'Folders_g' on a 10gR3 Content Server, searching yields the following error: 

Content Server Request Failed

Unable to retrieve search results. Unable to execute service method 'getSearchResults'. (System Error: collections.CollectionHelper.getQueryTextWithSubfolderCondition (Ljava/lang/String;Lintradoc/server/Service;Lintradoc/data/Workspace;Lintradoc/data/DataBinder; Ljava/lang/String;)
