Symptoms

Database Exception [TOPLINK-4002] is a run-time exception that is raised when data read from the database, or the data that is to be written to the database, is incorrect. It normally, acts as a wrapper for an underlying SQLException. This exception message contains a reference to the real error code and error message.

This exception can occur on any database operation. If an execution of a SQL script is involved in a database operation causing a Database Exception, the exception's message, is accessible through the getMessage method, and contains the SQL that caused this exception.
