After Changing Hostname, Node Manager Got an SSL "Bad Certificate" Error

Information in this document applies to any platform.
After changing the host name on a machine where WebLogic Server is installed, an SSL "bad_certificate" error occurs.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Change hostname.
- Restart computer.
- Start admin server.
- Start Node Manager.
- Start managed server on admin console.
Due to this issue, users cannot start the managed server from the admin console.
