Symptoms

After enabling SSL in HTTP Server of Oracle Application Server 10.1.2 or 10.1.3, when trying to access any page through HTTPS, the browser shows "The page cannot be displayed" and Apache error_log shows the following error:

[Mon Apr 27 12:30:12 2009] [error] [client 10.171.139.32] [ecid:1240824612:10.171.136.245:12234:0:1,0] Invalid method in request \\x80L\\x01\\x03

Changes

SSL was configured by following <> "Configuring HTTP Server to use SSL in Oracle Application Server 10g (10.1.2 - 10.1.3)"
