Symptoms


The following error is faced after removing metadata and clicking Update Database Design in Configuration Manager:

Error Updating database design. Unable to execute service UPDATE_META_TABLE and function
updateMetaTable. (System Error: Unable to alter table 'ORA-29884: domain index is defined on the
column to be dropped'.)
