Symptoms

Attempting to setup Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 10g 10.1.4 ASR based replication with remtool on nodes that are not the same platform (for example HP 64 bit and Linux).

The command remtool-asrsetup fails with error:

ORA-23308: object ODS.ASR_CHG_LOG does not exist or is invalid
