OID Plug-ins and Self Deadlocks

This problem can occur on any platform.
When Oracle Internet Directory (OID) plug-ins (PLSQL or Java) are used, it is possible to introduce a self deadlock situation or infinite loop. In that case, the OID user session or the whole server hangs.
