How to Solve Duplicated Tuxedo Domains Repeatedly Dropping and Re-establishing Connections With a Local Domain? (Doc ID 818167.1)

Symptoms

On 9.1 in Production:

When attempting to tmboot a tuxedo domain in test environment, the following error occurs.

ERROR
Tuxedo domains repeatedly drop and re-establish connections.

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced by following steps:

1. Configuration:
Local domain TDOM1
Remote domain TDOM2 on both SUSE Linux and RHLinux box.

2. ULOG of each machine:

Local domain:

111811.<LocalTuxMachineName>!GWTDOMAIN.xxx.1408.0: LIBGWT_CAT:1129: INFO: Connection established with domain (domainid=<TDOM2>)
111818.<LocalTuxMachineName>!GWTDOMAIN.xxx.1408.0: LIBGWT_CAT:1553: INFO: New connection from domain <TDOM2> accepted, drop old connection!
120401.<LocalTuxMachineName>!GWTDOMAIN.xxx.1408.0: LIBGWT_CAT:1553: INFO: New connection from domain <TDOM2> accepted, drop old connection!

Remote domain TDOM2 on SUSE Linux box at the same time:

052251.<RemoteSUSE_TuxMachineName>!GWTDOMAIN.xxxx.3056417696.0: LIBGWT_CAT:1128: INFO: Connection accepted from domain (domainid=<TDOM1>)
052258.<RemoteSUSE_TuxMachineName>!GWTDOMAIN.xxxx.3056417696.0: LIBGWT_CAT:1130: INFO: Disconnected from domain (domainid=<TDOM1>)


Remote domain TDOM2 on RedHat Linux:

120821.<RemoteLinux_TuxMachineName>!GWTDOMAIN.xx.3086993088.0: LIBGWT_CAT:1129: INFO: Connection established with domain (domainid=<TDOM1>)
120856.<RemoteLinux_TuxMachineName>!GWTDOMAIN.xx.3086993088.0: LIBGWT_CAT:1130: INFO: Disconnected from domain (domainid=<TDOM1>)
120856.<RemoteLinux_TuxMachineName>!GWTDOMAIN.xx.3086993088.0: LIBGWT_CAT:1354: INFO: Retrying domain (domainid=<TDOM1>) every 40 seconds

 

IMPACT:
Due to this issue, users cannot run tuxedo domain on both test and production environment..
