This document describes how to undeploy/deploy a technology adapter using the Enterprise Manager and the operating system command line on the Oracle Application Server.  These are adapters that are frequently used by BPEL and ESB services.  Technology adapters being the following adapter types:

Oracle Applications (AppsAdapter)
AQ (AqAdapter)
Database (DbAdapter)
File (FileAdapter)
FTP (FtpAdapter)
JMS (JmsAdapter)
MQ (MQSeriesAdapter)

Note:  Execution of this procedure will set any changes made to the respective oc4j-ra.xml file for the adapter being deployed back to default values.  The location of the oc4j-ra.xml file is here:  $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/<container name>/application-deployments/default/<adapter name>/oc4j-ra.xml.  If executing this procedure make sure to make backups of any modified oc4j-ra.xml files of the adapter(s) being redeployed.

You may want to redeploy an adapter to cleanup some corruption introduced into the adapter deployment.
