How to Use JNDI Names to Specify Database Connections in Lookup-Table Functions
Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2016
Applies to:Oracle(R) BPEL Process Manager - Version: 10.1.3.4.0
Information in this document applies to any platform.
The purpose of this example is to show how JNDI names can be used to specify the Data Source details in BPEL database functions like: lookup-table, query-database, and sequence-next-val. The Data Source value is commonly specified in terms of the JDBC connect string. However it is possible to use the JNDI name for the data source as well.
