Symptoms

Word documents are not being converted to PDF when using Ghostscript for the conversion. The error states:

Step PostscriptToPDF forced conversion failure by conversion engine because of error: ''Distiller' did not produce the output file 'c:/temp/idcoutput.pdf'.'.

You may also see this error in the server output log when creating image renditions:

gs: Interpreter revision (XXX) does not match gs_init.ps revision (YYY).
