"method getSelectionState() not found" After Migration to ADF 11g Trinidad (Doc ID 838177.1)

Symptoms


You have migrated an ADF Faces 10g application to ADF Faces 11g Trinidad application.

The migration completed without error.
Though the ADF Faces 10g application could compile without any warning and error, compiling the
migrated application fails with the following error:
Error(1024,38): method getSelectionState() not found
in class org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.component.core.data.CoreTable


Line 1024 is the following:
Set keySet = getItemsTable().getSelectionState().getKeySet();
