Oracle Application Server 10g Enterprise Edition - Version: 10.1.2.0.2 to 10.1.2.3.0
Symptoms
Oracle Application Server 10g Rel 2 ( 10.1.2 ) or Oracle Identity Management 10g Rel 3 ( 10.1.4 ) is installed on Linux/Unix Platform.
OPMN randomly / intermittently restarts some or all of its managed components e.g. managed components like
- HTTP Server
- OC4J
- Web Cache
- OID
The following errors are seen in $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/ipm.log:
The above section of ipm.log keeps repeating for more than 50 times in one second, after that OPMN managed components will come up again, with no further details in components log files.
