Oracle Application Server 10g Rel 2 ( 10.1.2 ) or Oracle Identity Management 10g Rel 3 ( 10.1.4 ) is installed on Linux/Unix Platform.
OPMN randomly / intermittently restarts some or all of its managed components e.g. managed components like
- HTTP Server
- Web Cache
The following errors are seen in $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/ipm.log:
(1996032223:7345) [The connection SSL send timed out]

09/05/17 14:35:26  [libopmnoc4j] AJP13: Error while reading the response packet
09/05/17 14:35:26  [libopmnoc4j] AJP13: Error while reading AJP13 response
09/05/17 14:35:26  [libopmnoc4j] Ping URL for proc: 1996032220 failed while pinging url:/reports/rwservlet
09/05/17 14:35:26  [libopmnoc4j] Process Ping Failed: OC4J~OC4J_BI_Forms~default_island~1 (<pid>:<port>)
09/05/17 14:35:26  [libopmnwc] Process Ping Failed: WebCache~WebCache~WebCache~1

and the following errors are seen in $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/ons.log:
09/05/17 14:35:26  Passive connection 0,127.0.0.1,6101 missing connect
The above section of ipm.log keeps repeating for more than 50 times in one second, after that OPMN managed components will come up again, with no further details in components log files.
