How to Rotate WorkSpace and ProcessAdministrator Log Files for 6.0 and 10g (Doc ID 852118.1)

Whenever the Web Application Server is restarted, the existing logs for Workspace (workspace.log) and ProcessAdministrator (webConsole.log) are removed and new files are created.

This means that you might not be able to troubleshoot an issue with those Web applications if you do not backup the logs before restarting them

This article provides a way to configure the logs so that they are not deleted when Web Application Server is restarted; instead, they are rotated.
