Oracle ESB - Version: 10.1.3.1 to 10.1.3.4
Information in this document applies to any platform.
There is an ESB service with a File adapter that reads from a file and a RS which is calling a BPEL process. The BPEL process has a File adapter that writes a file.
When putting a file in the folder, the flow is: Calling_ESB (read File adapter -> RS) -> Called_BPEL (write File adapter) and the instance finishes successfully (Green).
The BPEL process is manually undeployed. Now the flow is Calling_ESB (read File adapter -> RS), but the instance is still successful. There is no error message, but the BPEL process is simply not called and the file is not spooled to disk.
