Peoplesoft With OAM: User Presented With Peoplesoft Login Page After Session Timeout

After Oracle Access Manager (OAM) integrated Peoplesoft application session timeout, the user is correctly prompted to relogin via the OAM login page. However after doing this they are incorrectly redirected to the native Peoplesoft login screen instead of being granted access to the application as expected.
