Symptoms

A SAXParseException is thrown during the propagation of a Weblogic Portal application containing a JSR 168/Java portlet with portlet preferences:

The propagation fails with the error org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-complex-type.2.4.a:Invalid content starting with element 'netuix:preference'.The content must match '(('http://www.bea.com/servers/netuix/xsd/controls/netuix/1.0.0':meta{0-UNBOUNDED},(('http://www.bea.com/servers/netuix/xsd/controls/netuix/1.0.0':handlePortalEvent)|('http://www.bea.com/servers/netuix/xsd/controls/netuix/1.0.0':handlePageFlowEvent)|('http://www.bea.com/servers/netuix/xsd/controls/netuix/1.0.0':handleStrutsEvent) |('http://www.bea.com/servers/netuix/xsd/controls/netuix/1.0.0':handleCustomEvent) |('http://www.bea.com/servers/netuix/xsd/controls/netuix/1.0.0':handleEvent) |('http://www.bea.com/servers/netuix/xsd/controls/netuix/1.0.0':handleNotificationEvent)){0-UNBOUNDED})'.
