After Installing OIM on Solaris an Error is Seen: Missing Class: (Doc ID 858256.1)

After installing Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) on Solaris 9 and running a reconciliation task, the logs indicate that an IBMJCE class is missing. Why is this exception being hit, especially on Solaris which is using the Sun JVM?

OPMN log snippet with the exception and one following it that is similar:
