How To Validate a XML File with an Associated XSD or DTD File Using the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) XML Driver (Doc ID 858980.1)

Goal

Is it possible to Validate an XML file without having a reference to a DTD or an XSD file in the XML file itself ?

For example we have done the following according to the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) XML Driver documentation :

  1. Create an XML Data Server with following URL:
  2. Run the VALIDATE Spec Procedure

No error message is signaled.

This is not as expected.
