Goal

When using Oracle Coherence for .NET there could potentially be problems when loading values from app.config files on the clients, as the current directory may be not the same as where the assembly is loaded from, due to differences related to .NET / MS Windows configuration.

The main Coherence related information stored in the app.config are the configuration files, such as the coherence.xmlcache-config.xml and pof-config.xml, as demonstrated in the Oracle Coherence Client Guide's Sample Windows Forms Application example.

This article provides a reference to how to programmatically specify the configuration file values.
