Error Validating Oracle Internet Directory Administrator DN When Installing Second Instance of IM Cluster (Doc ID 865184.1)

The goal is to install an active-active, distributed  OracleAS Clusters for Identity Management Internet Directory(OID)-only setup, where Oracle Single Sign On and DAS are installed into a separate tier.

OID has been successfully installed on the first node (Node 1).

When installing OID into the second node (Node 2), the following error occurs after entering valid information in the
Specify Oracle Internet Directory Login Screen:

Error Validating Oracle Internet Directory Administrator DN, please ensure that your Oracle
Internet Directory connect information is correct and that the oracle internet directory , its
database and listener are running

On Node 1 the following test succeeds:

 ldapbind -h <OID_host> -p <OID_port> -D "cn=orcladmin" -w <pwd>

It is not possible ping and telnet to Node 1 from Node 2.
