Symptoms

After launching Dipassistant -gui tool, unable to view Directory Integration Platform (DIP) directory structure typically shown on the left hand side.

Dipassistant -gui shows dipadmin connected to Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 10g server <OID_HOSTNAME>:<PORT>, which is expanded, but no further structure items are displayed underneath it on the left, just the connection credentials and ssl tab on the right.

“java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/ldap/odip/engine/ODIException” message appears in
the command prompt on the background. There is also a "Notice" box behind the dipassistant -gui showing a "Connecting" message.

Tried resizing the tool but when selecting re-size, nothing happens, and it does not allow to grab/hold at the corner.  Same problem/symptoms occur is logging in as orcladmin instead of dipadmin.

Trying dipassistant command line, i.e., running dipassistant –help, just dipassistant or ./dipassistant, the following message is displayed:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/ldap/odip/engine/DIPAssistant
