Restore a Large Database to the BPA LOCAL Server (O-Lite Database) - Login Fails (Doc ID 868645.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

You have restored a large database (approximately 0.5GB .adb file or more) into the LOCAL Server (O-Lite DB) in Architect, but the login fails even though the User and Password are known.  

This would describe a typical scenario where this may happen:

+ Have an existing project in the Oracle 10g database that can be logged into fine from Architect.

+ A Backup is made of this project producing a .adb file.

+ Restore this (seemingly) successfully into the default LOCAL Server (Oracle Lite DB).

+ Try to log into this database, but this fails with invalid user/password error.

+ This same .adb backup can be logged into successfully when it is Restored back into the Oracle 10g database, but just does not work when trying to log in at the LOCAL Server.

+ If a brand new empty project is created and Backed up in the Oracle 10g database and Restored into the LOCAL Server - then the login works fine - unlike what is happening for the existing large database Restore and login.
