Unable to Copy Nested Binary Content from one Folder to Another. (Doc ID 872934.1)

Symptoms

When using the Virtual Content Repository with Library Services enabled, the Portal Admin Tool will throw the following exception when copying an existing nested binary property from one content folder to another content folder.

The exception is thrown when copying the content in either of the following ways:
 1) Right click on the content to be copied.
 2) Clicking the copy and paste button on the top right hand side.

Cause
